First Look @ Google's New Shopping Site, Boutiques.com

Tonight, Google is throwing a party! Unfortunately, it's invitation only and only for elite members of the fashion industry, like celebrities and designers. Link to party info here.

Are the Google execs just looking for a reason to party with the pretty people in NYC?

Nope, Google is just about to launch Boutiques.com, a shopping site that makes recommendations based on a user's preferred style. The site will also follow fashion taste makers in order to make the most current style recommendations.

Quick synopsis of the Google's intentions and goals can be found here.

Google Made Us Cookies!

So a number of people are getting really excited about the upcoming update to Google's mobile operating system, Android. Google announced the new version Android 2.3, also known as Gingerbread, with this adorable picture...

The company that swears to do no evil has been known for their sense of humor. And with the amount of money they have just laying around nowadays, they probably got a celebrity chef like Rachel Ray to make their tasty, tasty announcement.

The newest update of Android should be available in the next month or so. (At least, that's what my research indicates...)

  • Fixes bugs in previous versions operating systems.

  • Open source video codec that can replace flash.

  • Enhanced advertising algorithm.

  • Advanced navigation system.

  • HTML5 or higher standard specs.

  • Native video embedding in web pages that will enable viewing of any video without acquiring a specific codec.

  • An enriched and more interactive user interface.
